The idea for this blog started four months ago. I was actively seeking employment, since I really don't enjoy being a burden to my fellow taxpayers. I found that searching for a job during recession times is a challenge. It also put me in some amusing situations. Interview questions have changed, expectations for jobs are different. Basically, the qualifications that used to get us the job before have grown obsolete.
But, I did find a job. What is more, I found a job I wanted! Then I lost it. Yes, I did. I will tell you why in upcoming blogs, when I try to describe survival in today's job market. Not today, it's still fresh. It's a bit of an ego-bruiser, even for an intelligent, confident person like me.
Silver lining coming up in 3..2..1...I can now write my blog. I will tell you of all my experiences. The random questions, the trick questions, the body language rules, etc. I will do it immediately following each interview.
If only my daddy owned the Hilton...
